Description:

The James L., M. Leslie, Edna Madison, and Marjorie Pietsch Memorial Award was established by Marjorie Pietsch in memory of her brother, James L. Madison, a graduate student in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, and their parents, M. Leslie and Edna Madison.

Criteria:

1) Outstanding graduate Master's candidate in mathematical statistics w/plans to continue for a doctorate, or who has a Master's degree in mathematical statistics & exhibits commitment to this field of study 2) Demonstrated outstanding scholastic ability
