Description:

The Frank X. Gassner Scholastic Award was created by Dr. Gassner's family and friends in his honor after 26 years of service at Colorado State, as both a professor of chemistry and professor of physiology. The award is presented to undergraduate students who excel in research in biochemistry and molecular biology.

Criteria:

1) Undergraduate student who excels in research, has a passionate interest in the discovery of new knowledge, and a deep dedication to hard work in his/her pursuit under the auspices of the Department of Biochemistry
