Description:

This scholarship was created by Emeritus Faculty member Dr. Jerry Deffenbacher to provide financial support to former community college students who have transferred to CSU through the Bridges to Baccalaureate program.

Criteria:

1) Full-time undergraduate student enrolled in any College 2) Any major 3) Sophomore or junior class level 4) Overall 3.0 GPA 5) Financial need 6) Support for previous Bridges to Baccalaureate participants (former community college students who have transferred to CSU through the Bridges to Baccalaureate program) 7) Students must write an essay that addresses their summer research experience and how it has changed/affected their life and how the scholarship will assist/benefit them
