Description:

Created by CSU alumni Sharon and David Kabes to provide support to outstanding graduate students in the Department of Biology.

Criteria:

Recipients shall be graduate students majoring in the Department of Biology or an interdisciplinary program with provision that the student's major advisor is a faculty member of the biology department, including but not limited to GDPE or CMB. Additionally, recipients must demonstrate active engagement and academic curiosity within the Department of Biology. This may be exhibited by exceptional leadership, teaching, outreach, or innovative research in their chosen field of work.
