Marilyn and Ron Tuttle Undergraduate Research Scholarship
Description:
This scholarship was established by biology/botany alumna Marilyn Tuttle and her husband, Ron, to encourage students to pursue advanced degrees in the sciences by supporting undergraduate students majoring in biochemistry and biology.
Criteria:
1) Junior or senior undergraduate student majoring in biochemistry or biology 2) Have the approval of a faculty member from either the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology or the Department of Biology to participate in research 3) Maintain an overall 3.2 GPA 4) Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident

Other Requirements:
Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation; including one from a professor in either biochemistry or biology stating their willingness to mentor the student through the research. Applicants must also submit a 1-2 page research statement outlining their proposed research.
