Description:

This fund provides recognition for superior scholarship through annual award(s) to students of the doctoral program in the Department of Chemistry at Colorado State University.

Criteria:

1) Recent graduate (defended the dissertation or completed the degree in the calendar year immediately preceding the year in which the award is given; dissertations may only be nominated once) of the doctoral program in the Department of Chemistry at CSU whose primary advisor is a regular member of the Chemistry faculty at CSU 2) Have presented important results and interpretation from exceptional research in their well-written dissertation that focuses on significant problems in the chemical sciences 3) Dissertations reflecting the broad scope and diversity of the chemical sciences are particularly desirable
