Description:

Established for students who would like to pursue careers in medicine. Award will go to a student who demonstrates financial need, maintains a GPA of 3.5, and is involved in volunteer activities in the community.

Criteria:

1) Full-time undergraduate in the College of Natural Sciences 2) Majoring in Biology, Biochemistry/Molecular Biology, or Chemistry 3) Maintain minimum overall 3.5 GPA 4) Financial need 5) Demonstrate involvement in volunteer activities in the community 6) Outstanding Biology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology or Chemistry majors, with interest in pre-med who is in pursuit of a Medical Doctoral (M.D.), a Doctorate of Osteopathy (D.O.), a Physician Assistant (P.A.), or Nurse Practitioner (N.P.) degree (Scholarship shall be renewable if all criteria continues to be met and funding is available)
